Turning Back Time
Waaaay back in 2003, I started writing a number of articles for another venture/partnership. It was my first foray into posting articles online, and it served me well. When that partnership and my involvement with that site ended, I removed my articles, effectively breaking the Internet. Yes, I know cool URIs don’t change. Bad Derek.
It has taken me far too long, but I’ve finally started the process of republishing those articles here on the blog for archival purposes and to preserve history, at least in some slightly modified way. Here’s the first few, published with their original dates:
- The Missing <link> in the World Wide Web
- Accesskey Conflicts
- Changing the Scope of Link Relationships
- Web User Education Guidelines
You may or may not remember these articles, but hopefully they are useful, and hopefully search engines will pick them up and re-index the content.

@Mike Cherim:
Now you’re “Good Derek”
Sometimes you just gotta do what it takes to make it right, you know? ;) I’ll be “Better Derek” when I post the rest of them :)

According toVicki you are evil, so I reckon you have a long way to go before being good! :-)
It is good to see the articles back up.
